If a picture is worth a 1000 words, what is the value of video?

Broadcast video like you see on your television runs and 29.97 frames(pictures) per second so let’s do the math.

1second of video = 29.97 Pictures x 1000 words = 29,970 words

The Station X team has an extensive background in film and video production. We fully understand the power of video and how it can help a business or organization tell it’s story, and with the internet everyone has access to worldwide distribution.

Did you know Youtube is the 2nd largest search engine in the world. And that in  August 2010 Youtube had 146.3 million viewers and Facebook had 58.6 million video viewed.

178 million U.S. Internet users watched online video content in August for an average of 14.3 hours per viewer. The total U.S. Internet audience engaged in more than 5.2 billion viewing sessions during the course of the month.(source comscore)

No mater what your market you need an online video strategy. It does not have to be a viral wonder or major motion picture either. Product demos, sales pitches, testimonials from customers or a tour of your business are just a few examples of how you can use video to grow your business. Here are a few examples we have done for our clients.

The Capital Hotel is a historic hotel property in Little Rock, Arkansas with an amazing food story. To share that story we shoot short cooking segments and share them on their blog, Facebook, and Twitter.

Tipton & Hurst is a florist celebrating 125 years in business and still family owned and operated.

Most people tell me they would love to do video but it is too expensive. At Station X we can show you how great video can be affordable, integrate with your current marketing, and give you measurable results to reach your goals.
